People with rabies do not bark like dogs. Rabies is a malignant infectious disease that develops mainly through the broken skin into the subcutaneous nervous system and then into the central nervous system. Patients can become irritable and restless during the attack, followed by fear of wind and water, and hearing wind or drinking water can easily cause muscle spasms, but they do not bark like a dog. Rabies is a preventable but untreatable disease with a 100% mortality rate and no cure. The rabies vaccine is the only effective weapon against the rabies virus.
