Endometrial cancer is a malignant disease that is extremely harmful to women’s body. In the early stage of endometrial cancer, it can be roughly determined by ultrasound examination. Because endometrial cancer has certain characteristics under ultrasound, especially during color ultrasound, there are many characteristics such as uneven echogenicity of endometrium, too rich blood flow signal in endometrium, and high or low echogenicity of endometrium. The effect of abdominal ultrasound in the early stage of endometrial cancer is not as good as that of vaginal ultrasound. Through vaginal ultrasound, the size and location of endometrial cancer in the uterine cavity and the degree of damage to the myometrium can be clearly seen, and whether the tumor has penetrated the uterine plasma membrane can also be seen. However, ultrasound examination is not able to determine 100% of endometrial cancer, so pathological examination must be sent after surgery to determine whether it is endometrial cancer. When having ultrasound examination, you should avoid menstrual period, preferably within 3-7 days after menstruation. If ultrasound examination reveals uneven echogenicity of endometrium and particularly rich blood flow signal, it should be taken seriously and further CT or scraping pathology examination should be performed to confirm the diagnosis. Ultrasound examination has a certain rate of misdiagnosis, therefore, biopsy is necessary to confirm the diagnosis of endometrial cancer.
