Symptoms of anxiety and fear

The symptoms of anxiety and fear can be divided into three aspects: the first is the emotional aspect, the second is the somatic aspect, that is, the symptoms of autonomic dysfunction, and the third is the symptoms of motor restlessness. Emotional symptoms can include nervousness, distraction, impatience, eagerness, unsteadiness, and the tendency to panic and lose concentration when encountering sudden events, and to think in a bad way. Even at rest, the patient may experience restlessness and fear of flying disasters, and the patient is often on tenterhooks. Symptoms of autonomic dysfunction may include palpitations, sweating, chest tightness, shortness of breath, dry mouth, constipation, diarrhea, frequent urination, urgent urination, flushed or pale skin, and some patients may experience impotence, premature ejaculation, and menstrual disorders. Motor restlessness mainly includes fidgeting, rubbing hands and feet, shaking of limbs, tension pain in muscles, and tremor in hands, tongue and lips.
