The dosage of the drug should be individualized and the medication should be administered under the supervision of a doctor. The instructions recommend that infants 5 months of age inhale half a vial, about 1 ml (2.5 mg), using a nebulizer of terbutaline sulfate, which can be administered up to 4 times a day.
Nebulized terbutaline sulfate should only be administered through a nebulizer without dilution. Adults and children over 20kg should be given a vial i.e. 5mg (1ml) three times a day.Children under 20kg should be given up to four times a day by inhalation of half a vial i.e. 2.5mg (1ml) each time.Infants 5 months of age should be under 20kg and the latter recommended dose should be used.The dose of terbutaline sulphate should be given by inhalation of half a vial i.e. 2.5mg (1ml) each time.
It is contraindicated in case of hypersensitivity to the product and other adrenergic agonists.
