Breast nodules are very common and many can be diagnosed by ultrasonography. Multiple nodules are considered more likely to be benign, associated with breast enlargement, and the patient will have breast tenderness with some regularity, more pronounced during the premenstrual period. For solitary nodules, malignant nodules are more frequent, with irregular lesion margins, uneven internal density or lesions with obvious burr signs or lobar changes, further choice of percutaneous fine needle aspiration or complete excision of the lesion for pathological examination is also required. The occurrence of breast nodules is associated with changes in hormone levels in the body and has a tendency to run in families. Single lesions with an intact envelope also need to be examined periodically. Multiple nodules with significant pain and discomfort can also be treated with physical therapy and other options to relieve the patient’s discomfort.
