What are the contraindications of tamsulosin hydrochloride?

Tamsulosin Hydrochloride generally refers to Tamsulosin Hydrochloride Extended-Release Capsules and is contraindicated in patients who are allergic to the product and in patients with renal dysfunction. Tamsulosin Hydrochloride is used to treat dysuria caused by prostate enlargement by blocking sympathetic α1 receptors, which relaxes the smooth muscles of the urethra, bladder neck and prostate. This product can cause adverse reactions such as nausea and vomiting, loss of appetite, stomach upset, decreased blood pressure, increased heart rate, rash, dizziness, nasal congestion, and difficulty swallowing. It may also lead to liver injury, resulting in elevated transaminases, which usually recovers after discontinuation of the drug. Overdosage of this product will lead to a drop in blood pressure, coronary heart disease, postural hypotension patients should be used with caution, children should be prohibited.
