Three stages of wind and cold

In medicine and clinical practice, there is no fixed three stages of wind-cold, and the clinical manifestations may vary from patient to patient due to the great variation of individual patients. The common cold can usually be cured in 5-7 days, but some patients may develop complications, changes in the nature of the cold, etc., which may lead to prolonged illness. According to the progress of the course of wind chill cold, it can be simply divided into the following three stages: 1. Initial stage: Patients may have nasopharyngeal symptoms at the beginning of wind chill cold, such as sneezing, nasal congestion, runny nose and other symptoms; 2. Progressive stage: After 2-3 days, patients with wind chill cold may have concomitant symptoms in other parts of the body besides the nasopharynx, such as dull taste, headache, lacrimation, hoarseness, loss of appetite, fever and other symptoms; 3. 3.Recovery period: At about 5-7 days, the common cold and flu can tend to heal, the nasopharyngeal symptoms weaken or subside, and the systemic symptoms disappear, such as the emergence of complications at the same time, which can lead to a prolonged course of illness, etc. If a patient has a cold, he or she can usually take medication for treatment. For example, Chinese medicine such as wind-cold pellets and Tongxuan lung pills, and western medicine such as Aminophenamine tablets and acetaminophen tablets can be used. If infection occurs, it can also be treated with antibiotics, such as amoxicillin capsules, cefuroxime tablets, etc. In daily life, we should pay attention to drink more water, eat more fresh vegetables and fruits, replenish the nutrition and trace elements required by the body, and exercise appropriately to improve the body’s resistance.
