Barrett’s esophagus should try to avoid drinking iced drinks, do not eat spicy stimulation, cold food, and need to avoid smoking and alcohol stimulation, pay attention to dietary patterns.
Barrett’s esophagus is caused by gastroesophageal reflux, in which the squamous epithelium of the esophagus is replaced by columnar epithelium, and the refluxed material can lead to damage of the esophageal mucous membrane, which has the tendency to become cancerous. The usual diet should pay attention to avoid drinking ice water, avoid spicy stimulation, cold food, to reduce the esophageal mucosal damage, quit smoking and drinking, and eat regularly.
Patients with Barrett’s esophagus should have regular checkups to prevent malignant changes. If early esophageal cancer is found, early diagnosis and treatment should be carried out to improve the prognosis and prevent delay. High-risk groups should do a good job of medical checkups and seek timely medical treatment if they have uncomfortable symptoms.
