How long do you live once you find out that your cervical cancer is advanced?

Patients with advanced stage of cervical cancer can probably live from a few months to three to five years, which is related to whether the patients actively cooperate with the treatment, the effect of treatment, the state of mind and other factors.
Generally speaking, advanced cervical cancer refers to cervical cancer stages III and IV, in which the cancerous lesions have eroded blood vessels as well as neighboring organs, involved the lower part of the vagina and pelvic wall, and may cause pelvic and renal diseases or para-aortic lymph nodes, and may also show lesions in the rectum or bladder.
The five-year survival rate for stage III is about 50 percent, and for stage IV the survival period is about six months to two years in most cases. Patients need to be treated with drugs, surgery, radiation and chemistry under the guidance of doctors to improve the quality of life and prolong the survival time.
Even in the advanced stage of cervical cancer, patients should actively participate in the treatment under the guidance of doctors, and at the same time, they need to consume rich nutrition, get enough sleep, and have a good state of mind to strengthen the resistance to fight against the disease.
