When is the best time to place a tooth after extraction?

Without teeth, it must be very inconvenient to eat, not only affect the chewing function but also affect the aesthetics, so we hope that we can get dentures in a short time after tooth extraction.        So, when is the most suitable time to install teeth? Usually, about 3 months after tooth extraction is more appropriate. This is due to the fact that the complete healing of the extraction wound needs a process. Under normal circumstances, a cavity (i.e. an incision) is created after the tooth is extracted and is filled with blood clots. In the following days, the blood clot is mechanized and the granulation tissue grows in the cavity, which gradually fills the cavity and then the cavity gradually grows flat. If the incision does not grow well, the tooth extraction incision is still changing due to the resorption of the alveolar bone, and the gap between the denture and the gum tissue will appear, resulting in food embedding, bad breath, loose and unstable dentures. As to whether the wound is healing well or not and whether it is suitable for denture fitting, it is necessary to ask the dentist to check. If the alveolar bone is uneven at the top and bottom of the missing teeth, sometimes there is a need for alveolar bone repair surgery, especially after full mouth extraction patients often encounter such problems. There is an immediate denture: the model is taken before the extraction, and the teeth to be extracted are trimmed on the model first, and then the denture is routinely made and worn immediately after the extraction, which has poor retention and aesthetic effects because the extracted teeth do not fit well. If you are going to have dental implants, the time for implant surgery after tooth extraction should be longer, at least not shorter than 3.5 months. There is a new concept of implantation immediately after tooth extraction, but there are not many hospitals in China that can perform this procedure and the long-term results are debatable. In short, about 3 months after tooth extraction is more appropriate, do not delay too long, more than half a year without dentures, the adjacent good teeth will be more or less tilted to the missing gap, the opposite jaw teeth will also have the phenomenon of elongation, which the dentist does not want to see, and you are the one affected.
