Meniere’s Vertigo, or Meniere’s Disease, is usually not immediately relieved by massage. The disease is mainly treated with general therapy, medication or surgery to relieve symptoms.
1. General treatment: bed rest should be provided during the attack period, and a diet high in protein, high in vitamins, low in fat and low in salt should be used. After the symptoms are relieved, it is advisable to get out of bed gradually as soon as possible, assisted by psycho-spiritual treatment.
2. Drug therapy: vasodilators such as betahistine are commonly used to improve microcirculation of the inner ear, diuretics such as hydrochlorothiazide to reduce labyrinthine fluid accumulation, methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin for English nerves. Dexamethasone is used for tympanic injection. The use of drugs should follow the doctor’s instructions.
3. Surgical treatment: If the attacks of vertigo are frequent and intense, long-term conservative treatment is ineffective, and the tinnitus and deafness decline are aggravated, surgical treatment can be considered, including endolymphatic sac decompression.
When suffering from Meniere’s disease, you can actively consult a doctor for a systematic examination, and follow the doctor’s instructions to standardize the treatment.
