What does high ApoA1 mean?

Apolipoprotein a1 should be called apolipoprotein AI, which can predict and evaluate the risk of coronary heart disease, and a high level of apolipoprotein AI means that an individual has a low risk of developing coronary heart disease. ApoA1 is a commonly used clinical indicator because of its ability to remove lipids from tissues and its anti-atherosclerotic effect. The normal reference value is (1.25∽1.59) g/L in men and (1.31∽1.49) g/L in women. ApoA1 can directly reflect the level of HDL. Therefore, ApoA1, like HDL, predicts and evaluates the risk of coronary heart disease, and its level is negatively correlated with the incidence of coronary heart disease. Individuals with low levels are at greater risk of developing coronary heart disease, while those with high levels are at lesser risk of developing coronary heart disease. ApoAI is a sensitive indicator for the diagnosis of coronary heart disease, but it is not sufficient to evaluate the disease based on ApoAI alone. A combination of other tests and symptoms is needed to evaluate the disease. If you have any cardiovascular and cerebrovascular symptoms, in order to avoid misdiagnosis, it is recommended to go to a regular hospital in time to improve the detailed examination, early detection and early treatment.
