Various interstitial lung diseases that are not detected at an early stage and progress to an advanced stage forming extensive fibrosis in both lungs (cellular lung), so far there is no better way to cure advanced pulmonary fibrosis other than lung transplantation. However, reasonable treatment measures with medication can help relieve symptoms and improve quality of life. There are many different types of interstitial lung disease, and most of them, if detected and diagnosed early, can be treated effectively to reduce symptoms, prevent or slow down the formation of pulmonary fibrosis, and alleviate and control the progression of the disease. A large proportion of these diseases can be cured if diagnosed early and treated effectively.
