How soon can you exercise after artificial hearing bone implant surgery

Proper exercise is usually allowed after 3 months after artificial hearing bone implantation surgery.
The implantation of an artificial auditory ossicle is a surgical procedure to restore a stable sound transmission connection between the tympanic membrane and the external lymphatic fluid in order to restore or improve the function of the middle ear’s sound transmission system. During the procedure, a partial or full auditory ossicle implant is selected based on the defective auditory chain and the conditions available for hearing reconstruction. The implanted auditory bone is held in place by gelatin sponges around the periphery of the implant.
Strict head braking is usually required for 3 days after surgery to prevent dislocation of the auditory bone, dizziness, and falls. Strenuous exercise is not allowed for 3 months after surgery, and air travel is not allowed for 3 months after surgery.
For patients who have undergone artificial hearing bone implantation surgery, it is recommended that they start exercising gradually after 3 months after the surgery according to the doctor’s instructions and their physical recovery. If you need to exercise earlier due to your occupation, it is recommended that you consult with your surgeon for targeted guidance.
