Infant grunts while breastfeeding, what’s going on

Babies grunting when breastfeeding may be related to insufficient breastmilk secretion, incorrect breastfeeding posture, nasal congestion and other factors.
1. Insufficient breastmilk secretion: some mothers like to pick and choose food due to bad habits, resulting in insufficient breastmilk secretion, which leads to the baby not being able to eat, and may appear to be grunting when breastfeeding.
2. Incorrect breastfeeding posture: when the baby is breastfeeding due to the mother’s incorrect breastfeeding posture, it may cause the baby’s fatigue and discomfort to appear grunting.
3. Nasal congestion: Babies are young and have poor resistance, so if they have nasal congestion caused by a cold, they may not be able to breathe well and may grunt when they are breastfeeding.
