A fall with a cerebral thrombosis may result in fractures, traumatic brain injury, and a poor prognosis for cerebral thrombosis. Patients with cerebral thrombosis should avoid walking alone too early to avoid falling. 1. Fracture: Cerebral thrombosis fall may lead to fracture, especially in the elderly with serious bone loss, among which osteoporosis is more serious in elderly female patients. When the patient’s lower limbs are not strong enough to support the body, it is recommended that the patient performs rehabilitation training in bed or at the bedside. 2. Traumatic brain injury: If the head hits the ground after a fall, it will lead to subcortical hematoma of the brain, and in serious cases, subdural hematoma and cerebral hemorrhage will occur. 3. Poor prognosis of cerebral thrombosis: once the patient is bedridden after a fall, the patient’s prognosis will be affected if he/she cannot perform rehabilitation exercises during the golden recovery period of cerebral thrombosis, such as poor flexibility in limb movement. In addition, the serious bedridden may also appear to fall pneumonia, decubitus ulcers, etc., aggravate the condition. After a fall with cerebral thrombosis, it is recommended that patients go to the hospital for relevant examinations to detect abnormalities as early as possible.
