What should I pay attention to before and after my child’s vaccination?

Vaccination is the most economical, effective and convenient means to prevent corresponding infectious diseases and is an important measure to protect children’s health. Parents should do five things before their children are vaccinated: 1. They must bring their vaccination certificate, and the doctor will register the name of the vaccination and the date of vaccination on the certificate, so as to avoid wrong vaccination, omission and re-vaccination. 2. Pay attention to whether the child has fever, cough, sore throat and other discomforts in the next few days, and inform the doctor if there is discomfort, and consider suspending the vaccination. 3.If your child has reactions such as high fever, convulsions, hives, asthma, etc. during the previous vaccination, please inform the vaccination doctor. 4.Change into soft and loose clothing before vaccination to make it easier to roll up the sleeves for the injection. 5. Vaccination is prone to dizziness when hungry and overly tired, so children should be allowed to eat well and rest well one hour before vaccination. Four things to note after vaccination: 1. To avoid serious hazards caused by acute allergic reactions, please observe your child at the vaccination site for 30 minutes after vaccination and leave only if there is no discomfort. 2. Do not press and rub the injection site after vaccination, let your child rest properly and avoid strenuous exercise. A few people will have fever, local redness and swelling, mental discomfort, crying, etc., which are generally not serious and will disappear after 1-2 days. Please seek immediate medical attention for individual severe reactions. 4. Finally, remember the time of the next vaccination. Generally speaking, in case of special circumstances, vaccination can be delayed for several days, but not in advance, and there should be a certain time interval between the two vaccines, so please pay attention to parents.
