In the middle and late stage of bowel cancer, if treated in a more timely manner with comprehensive anti-tumor therapy, it is possible to survive for a longer period of time, with the hope of a survival period of more than 3 or 5 years. Bowel cancer, including small intestine cancer and large intestine cancer, small intestine cancer is relatively rare, its symptoms are atypical, and the diagnosis is difficult, and the survival period is within 3 to 5 years. In the middle and late stages of small intestine cancer, most of them cannot be treated surgically, and pancreaticoduodenectomy can be considered in the early stage. For mid to late stage of colorectal cancer, even if stage I surgery cannot be done, treatment with adjuvant chemotherapy and targeted drugs can control the disease progression and prolong the survival period. If the tumor can be shrunk and the stage can be reduced, there is a chance of surgical radical treatment later, which can prolong the survival. If there is metastasis, doing preoperative neoadjuvant chemotherapy can make the metastasis get control or disappear completely, and then do surgical radical treatment later with better effect.
