Acupuncture points that can be massaged for menstrual pain

Acupuncture points that can be massaged for dysmenorrhea (menstrual pain) include Sanyinjiao, Uterus Point, and Blood Sea Point. 1. Sanyinjiao: belongs to the Foot Taiyin Spleen Meridian. It is located 3 inches above the tip of the inner ankle, at the back of the medial border of the tibia. It has the functions of activating blood circulation and regulating menstruation (regulating menstruation by activating blood circulation) and benefiting qi and tonifying the spleen (regulating the qi of the spleen and stomach), and can therefore be used for treating symptoms of abdominal distension and diarrhea, irregular menstruation, and menstrual cramps. 2. Uterus Point: It is a meridian point. It is located 4 inches below the umbilicus and 3 inches beside the front center line. It has the effect of regulating menstruation and stopping leucorrhoea (regulating menstruation and reducing abnormally increased leucorrhoea), in addition to the effect of regulating qi and blood (regulating qi, harmonizing qi and blood). Therefore, it can be used for the treatment of yin ting (a woman’s uterus prolapsing or even prolapsing out of the vaginal opening), irregular menstruation and dysmenorrhea and other conditions. 3. Blood Sea Point: belongs to the Foot Taiyin Spleen Meridian. It is located 2 inches above the medial end of the base of the patella, where the medial femoral (inner thigh) muscle rises. It has the effects of strengthening the spleen and resolving dampness (strengthening the spleen and eliminating dampness), regulating menstruation and regulating blood (regulating menstruation and regulating qi and blood). It can therefore be used to treat irregular menstruation, dysmenorrhea and other conditions. If external Chinese medicine treatment is needed, it should be operated by a doctor, do not operate on your own to avoid adverse consequences.
