What to do if you have a clubfoot?

Foot bunion can be treated conservatively or surgically. 1. Conservative treatment: Wear loose shoes that allow you to wiggle your toes and pull them inward. Wear bunion orthotics, bunion sleeves or silicone pads. If there is pain, you can take ice packs, local topical diclofenac diethylamide cream. 2. Surgery: If the bunion is severe and conservative treatment is not effective, surgery can be used to correct the deformity, restore the shape of the foot and improve pain. The soft tissue is loosened and the medial joint capsule is tightened and sutured. Osteotomies or joint fusions can be performed. Bunion needs to be examined in the hospital to determine the severity of the problem and to adopt different treatment methods. The use of medication should be in accordance with the doctor’s prescription.
