What is Phenomethamine Tablets

  Phenomethamine tablets are widely used in clinical practice as cold and flu medication, which is a compound preparation containing acetaminophen, pseudoephedrine hydrochloride, dextromethorphan hydrobromide and chlorpheniramine maleate. It is commonly used clinically to relieve fever, headache, sore throat, muscle aches, stuffy and runny nose, sneezing and cough caused by cold or flu. Phenomethamine tablets should not be used together with other antipyretic and analgesic drugs, which may increase nephrotoxicity. Interaction with chloramphenicol, barbiturates (e.g. phenobarbital), antispasmodics (e.g. belladonna), phentolamine, digitalis glycosides, etc. should be consulted with physician or pharmacist if used together.
