Head gauze and bandages are for the prevention of subscalp hematoma and can only be removed 5-7 days after surgery.  2.Soft diet for 2 weeks 3.Prevent trauma to the head especially to the implant part.  4. Do not get water on the ear and incision to prevent infection. 5. Do not blow your nose. 7. Take lateral (cochlear position) X-rays of the head after removing the ear bandage 5-7 days after surgery. 8.  9.The sutures of the cochlear implant incision are removed 10 days after surgery. The incision stretches are removed in 3 weeks.  10. Regular review as required by the doctor and follow up for discomfort.
