Treatment Options for Wisdom Teeth Growing in the Nervous Canal

The neural tube is the mandibular canal, and the treatment plan for wisdom teeth growing on the mandibular canal can be partial crown resection, which removes part of the proximal mesiodistal anatomical crown of the wisdom tooth, and the remaining dental tissues can be moved away from the mandibular canal by the residual eruption force, as follows.
The surgical procedure for partial crown resection is to transect a portion of the wisdom tooth crown as far as possible parallel to the long axis of the mandibular second molar under local anesthesia using a special cutting handpiece and a special lathe needle, followed by checking for pulp exposure, leaving the exposed pulp untreated in the case of non-erupted wisdom teeth, and covering the pulp exposure with a glass-ionized cementum in the case of partially erupted wisdom teeth.
After partial crown resection is performed, the residual eruptive force of the blocked wisdom tooth allows the residual tooth tissue to move proximally and centrally, away from the mandibular canal, protecting the nerves and blood vessels within it.
It is recommended to visit your regular healthcare provider for specialized treatment.
