Will cervical spine compression of nerves heal on its own?

If cervical spondylosis compresses a nerve, whether or not it is cured depends on the degree of compression. However, in the case of serious cervical spondylosis, if the nerve root is compressed or the spinal cord is affected, it is impossible to heal by itself. Therefore, for patients with cervical spondylosis compressing the nerve, timely examination should be conducted to determine the situation of the compression and whether the compression affects the function of the upper limbs and the neck, or whether it affects other systems and the possibility of abnormal performance. If it is determined to be mild, conservative treatment can be considered, such as oral medication, acupuncture and massage and other physical therapy methods. If the pressure on the spinal cord is serious, surgery should be considered in the case of spinal cord cervical spondylosis to relieve the pressure on the spinal cord through surgery, so for a patient with cervical spondylosis compressing the nerve, the degree of pressure should be checked first and then the most effective treatment measures should be formulated according to the specific pressure. If the cervical spondylosis with relatively mild nerve compression can be considered to be cured by itself, but it should be reviewed regularly and attention should be paid to the body posture and the rationality of the sleeping posture.
