How to treat ligament injuries

In clinical work, we often encounter many patients with ankle injuries who come to the clinic with obvious swelling and pain, but no obvious fracture is seen on film, so patients and medical staff relax their vigilance and think that it does not matter, and many patients do not get enough rest and proper functional exercise, leaving swelling and pain and activity limitation as sequelae. Therefore, for patients with ankle sprains, although no obvious fracture is seen on the film, we still need to treat them with caution. Do not walk under heavy weight or perform strenuous exercises too early, and avoid re-injury. It is recommended to gradually carry out appropriate functional exercises under the guidance of a specialist.
