Eszopiclone contains both tablets and injections, of which the tablets, for sedation, are taken 3 times a day, 1 to 2 tablets each time. For hypnosis, take 1~2 tablets before bedtime daily. For anticonvulsant and antiepileptic, take 2~4 tablets 3 times a day. Injection, anticonvulsant, need to be injected intramuscularly 2~4 ml, can be repeated once after 2 hours. As a pre-anesthetic drug, 2 mg intramuscularly 1 hour before surgery. Eszopiclone tablets are indicated for insomnia, anxiolytic, antiepileptic, anticonvulsant, nervousness, fear. This drug has possible side effects such as dry mouth and drowsiness, dizziness, drug dependence, allergies, sleep syndrome. The injection is indicated as an anticonvulsant and to relieve preoperative nervousness and anxiety. There is a possibility of weakness and drowsiness, headache and dizziness, nausea and constipation, rash and other abnormalities at higher doses of this drug. Use with caution in patients with acute alcoholism in which the central nervous system is depressed, hepatic or renal impairment, myasthenia gravis, acute or episodic closed-angle glaucoma attacks, severe chronic obstructive pulmonary lesions, and allergy to this medication, both as tablets and as injections. The use of the drug must be directed by a specialized physician.
