If a patient experiences dizziness and back muscle pain, it is considered to be caused by posterior circulation ischemia, which is mainly due to the patient’s recent overexertion and vascular spasm in the brain, resulting in insufficient blood supply to the cerebellum and brainstem, and the patient experiences symptoms of imbalance, manifesting as dizziness. For back muscle soreness, it may be caused by overexertion and excessive production of lactic acid in the body, which is not fully metabolized. Patients can drink more hot water to promote urination, which can promote lactic acid metabolism. Blood tests are also needed to see if there are bacterial infections in the body, such as upper respiratory tract infections that can present with dizziness and back muscle aches and pains.
