  I. What diseases are vulvar focused ultrasound suitable for?  Focused vulvar ultrasound is suitable for patients with persistent vulvar pruritus or white vulvar lesions for which drug treatment is not effective.  What conditions are not suitable for vulvar focused ultrasound treatment?  Focused vulvar ultrasound is not suitable for patients with severe cardiovascular disease or abnormal liver and kidney function, menstruating, pregnant and lactating patients, uncontrolled diabetes mellitus, systemic lupus erythematosus, keloid, vulvar ulcer, and patients with vulvar intraepithelial neoplasia or vulvar cancer.  What are the advantages of vulvar focused ultrasound treatment?  Focused vulvar ultrasound has good penetration and localization, and improves microcirculation and nerve endings nutrition while destroying lesioned tissues, thus effectively relieving itching symptoms, reducing the amount and time of glucocorticoid use, and improving the local environment of lesioned skin, which is an effective treatment method with little damage to patients and quick recovery.  IV. What are the side effects of vulvar focused ultrasound treatment?  Most patients may experience transient vulvar edema after treatment, thus requiring vulvar ice packs. Very few patients may experience localized bruising, pain, blisters and ulcers on the vulva, which can usually be relieved by topical medication or intravenous medication.  V. Is there any anesthesia for vulvar focused ultrasound treatment?  If the patient’s physical condition allows, usually the anesthesia for focused vulvar ultrasound is local anesthesia and/or intravenous general anesthesia. The edema and pain can be gradually reduced by vulvar care after the operation.  VI. What is the cost of vulvar focused ultrasound treatment?  At present, the general procedure cost of vulvar focused ultrasound treatment is about 1000-2000 RMB, and the general hospital deposit needs 3000-5000 RMB.  How to follow up after the vulvar focused ultrasound treatment?  The follow-up after the operation is once a month for 3 months, and once six months and once a year after the treatment.
