11-year-old boy with acne will affect height

Boys 11 years old are in the normal range of puberty, as long as the child’s bone age is not significantly earlier, long acne will not have an impact on height. Acne, also known as acne, is a common chronic inflammatory disease in dermatology, mainly associated with excessive sebum production, blockage of sebaceous ducts, and bacterial infection. In boys, hormone levels begin to change significantly at the age of 11-12, especially testosterone levels rise rapidly, promoting the development of sebaceous glands and producing large amounts of sebum, which can easily lead to sebum discharge disorders, which can form acne, a normal phenomenon. The change in hormone levels can promote the development of secondary sexual characteristics, resulting in rapid height and weight gain. Some parents worry that the early appearance of pimples is a sign of precocious sexual maturity, which can lead to the early end of height growth, but in fact, there is no need to worry too much. If the child is found to be precocious, timely treatment will not affect height growth. Boys at this age should pay attention to nutritional supplements, get enough sleep, exercise regularly, and avoid excessive mental stress.
