Rectal prolapse is a condition in which the mucosa of the rectal canal and part of the sigmoid colon are displaced downward and prolapse outside the anus. Diagnosis and classification Ⅰ degree: prolapse of rectal mucosa, prolapse is light red, 3~5cm long, soft to touch, inelastic, not easy to bleed, and can be retracted by itself after stool. Degree II: full rectal prolapse, prolapse is about 5~10cm, cone-shaped, light red, the surface is circular and layered mucosal folds, thicker and more elastic to touch, the anus is loose, and sometimes needs to be returned by hand after stool. Grade III: rectum and part of sigmoid colon prolapse, more than 10 cm long, cylindrical, thick to touch, anal relaxation and weakness.
