The time between baths for infants is related to the weather, their own state and other factors. If the weather is hot, you can take a bath 1-2 times a day, and in cold weather it is recommended to take a bath every 2-3 days, depending on the person. Babies’ skin metabolism is faster, secretions are relatively more, easy to smell or skin infections, frequent bathing can keep the skin clean and dry to prevent the occurrence of infection. At the same time, it can accelerate the circulation of blood and promote growth and development. When taking a bath, you need to close the doors and windows, keep the room temperature at 25℃-28℃ and the water temperature at about 38℃-40℃. The baby bath should be chosen one hour before feeding or after feeding, and the time should be controlled within 5-10 minutes as much as possible, not more than 15 minutes. If the baby is in the state of just after feeding or hunger or exhaustion, it is not suitable for immediate bathing to avoid adverse reactions. If the baby’s umbilical cord has not fallen off or there is skin damage, the bath should avoid local water exposure. Babies have delicate skin and should not be bathed too often to avoid unnecessary damage. After bathing, the baby should be dried in time to prevent from getting cold.
