Parkinson’s disease is suitable for those exercises

The special nature of Parkinson’s disease, many in the eyes of ordinary people seem to leisurely exercise for Parkinson’s patients is not simple, easy, but will become a burden. Easy walks are not easy walks for ordinary people and other chronic disease patients, as long as no walking disorders can easily complete, but for Parkinson’s disease patients has been a “luxury exercise. The author has accompanied Parkinson’s patients on numerous walks, the environment and atmosphere are very good, but the unexpected result is that the patient soon “freezes”. Look at your watch, the “on” time is actually shorter than usual. Normally, if you take the medication and turn it on quickly or keep doing things, it can last 3 to 4 hours. But in the state of walking without any pressure, the effect of the drug disappears quickly. The author has also tried to walk while deliberately reminding patients to relax mentally and physically, and the results were not satisfactory. The author has followed up and conditioned a Parkinson’s patient, who is a university professor and liked to swim before she got sick and had good water, and still wanted to insist on swimming after her illness. But after many observations and communications, I suggested that she give up swimming exercise. Although Parkinson’s disease patients can swim with the buoyancy of water, they are more prone to cramps, which can be dangerous in the water, not to mention that the strain of Parkinson’s disease patients is not as strong as before. Therefore, for safety reasons, it is not advisable to use the swimming exercise method. The dance exercise is not comfortable to mention the dance, whether the dancers or the audience will feel the beauty of enjoyment, but Parkinson’s disease patients have no time to take into account the beauty of the dance. The author has targeted some patients who love dance, let them listen to their favorite music, watch their favorite dance, trying to divert their attention, but in the face of these beautiful enjoyment, they are not only reluctant to try to join in, even the willingness to listen and enjoy is much less than before, completely trapped by the stiffness of their own limbs, uncomfortable. Scientific safety is the key Parkinson’s disease patients should choose some safe and targeted rehabilitation exercise methods for their own situation. Parkinson’s disease is divided into five levels according to the severity of the disease. If the disease progresses to the third level, the patient shows bilateral limb symptoms accompanied by balance disorders, that is, the patient stands with his feet apart and the examiner uses both hands to pull the patient’s shoulders backward gently, the patient will appear to be unstable and fall backward. Grade 3 is the watershed of disease progression. Patients must pay attention to good protection when exercising to avoid accidental falls. In addition, regular leisure and fitness programs such as mountain climbing and boxing exercises are not suitable for patients with Grade 3 Parkinson’s disease. Parkinson’s disease patients should make good use of the precious “open time” when exercising, especially to complete some self-care within their ability, and deliberately do some rehabilitation exercises to guide the meridians, spine and limbs, so that the waist, knees, shoulders, elbows, wrists and other physiological parts that are usually stiff can be relaxed. For movements that cannot be done independently, family members and caregivers can be asked to help. It is also very important for family members and caregivers to strengthen their own health exercises and always motivate and help patients in a spirited state.
