Does Ling Gui Zhu Gan Tang treat persistent vertigo?

Ling Gui Zhu Gan Tang cannot treat persistent vertigo. Ling Gui Zhu Gan Tang has the effect of warming yang and resolving fluid (warming yang qi in the body to promote water metabolism), strengthening the spleen and inducing dampness, and does not have the effect of treating intractable vertigo, but it can treat vertigo caused by phlegm-dampness.
Ling Gui Zhu Gan Tang is an expectorant of dampness, with the effects of warming yang and transforming phlegm-drinking, strengthening the spleen and inducing dampness, and can treat phlegm-drinking (a pathological product formed as a result of the impaired metabolism of water and liquid) syndrome of yang deficiency, which can be seen as fullness in the chest and ribs, dizziness and palpitation (accelerated heartbeat, often accompanied by panic), shortness of breath and coughing with a white slippery fur of the tongue, etc. Most cases of intractable vertigo are caused by the presence of phlegm-dampness.
Intractable vertigo is mostly caused by ear lesions, central nervous system damage, diseases, etc. In this case, treatment with Ling Gui Zhu Gan Tang is usually ineffective.
Ling Gui Jiu Gan Tang should not be used by people with solid heat or yin deficiency (deficiency of yin and essence in the body, resulting in hyperactivity of deficiency fire).
If there is any discomfort, it is recommended that patients go to the hospital in time, under the guidance of the doctor for treatment, and not self-medication.
