Helicobacter pylori is mainly infected through oral transmission, fecal-oral transmission, medical transmission and other ways.
1. Oral transmission: when eating or kissing with patients suffering from H. pylori, H. pylori will enter the mouth and digestive tract through saliva and droplets, and colonize the gastric mucosa, resulting in H. pylori infection.
2. Fecal-oral transmission: When contacting the excreta of patients with H. pylori, eating or touching food without washing hands, it may cause fecal-oral transmission of H. pylori.
3. Medical transmission: Gastroscopy, colonoscopy and oral examination can easily cause H. pylori infection because the examination equipment is not thoroughly sterilized.
