The treatment of fundus hemorrhage in glycosuria depends on the amount of hemorrhage and whether it is combined with other diseases. If the hemorrhage in the fundus is only small flakes or dots and there is no obvious macular edema or neovascularization, it can be observed and the main focus is to adjust the blood sugar and control the stability of blood sugar. However, if the amount of bleeding is large and there is obvious exudation, fundus angiography should be performed and the corresponding laser treatment should be carried out according to the angiography results in order to prevent further serious lesions. If severe lesions have developed, such as macular edema or neovascularization, vitreous injection is required to eliminate the edema and inhibit the production of neovascularization, otherwise proliferation of neovascularization and hemorrhage in the fundus may easily occur. In the unfortunate case of proliferation and hemorrhage, vitrectomy is often required to remove these problems.
