What Causes Fatty Nodules

Fatty nodules are masses formed due to abnormal proliferation of fatty tissue in the body, medically known as lipoma. The reasons for the formation of lipoma include: metabolic disorder of adipose tissue, abnormal secretion of hormones in the anterior pituitary gland, chronic inflammatory stimulation and connective tissue disease, etc. Genetic factors also have certain correlation. 1. Adipose tissue metabolism disorder: adipose tissue can not be converted to normal decomposition of fat due to pathological or physiological factors or the metabolism rate slows down, resulting in the accumulation of fat in the local area, which in turn leads to the formation of lipoma. In daily life, we should eat less greasy, high-fat or fried food and exercise to prevent the occurrence of lipoma. 2. Abnormal secretion of anterior pituitary hormone: Pituitary gland is a secretion gland in human body, and the hormone it secretes will affect the metabolism of fat. Abnormal secretion of anterior pituitary hormone will lead to uneven distribution of fat, and if you suspect that this disease occurs, you should go to endocrinology department to check it actively. 3. Chronic inflammatory stimulation, connective tissue disease: Inflammatory stimulation and connective tissue disease may lead to lymphatic and blood circulation disorders between the diseased tissues and their surroundings, which may block fat metabolism and lead to fat deposition, thus forming fat nodules. 4. Genetic factors: about thirty percent of lipoma patients have family genetic history, when there are relatives with lipoma around, they should actively go to the hospital for checkup, meanwhile, healthy diet and exercise to achieve the purpose of prevention. The occurrence of fatty nodules is related to unhealthy living habits such as oily diet and sedentary lifestyle, so one should eat healthy, exercise moderately, and increase the metabolism of body fat in order to prevent the occurrence of fatty tumors; if fatty tumors have been found, go to regular medical institutions to find out the cause of the disease, and undergo surgical resection if necessary.
