Swelling and pain after fracture is a recurrent clinical symptom. The period of swelling and pain after fracture is divided into 2 stages: 1. the initial period of swelling and pain after fracture, which lasts for about 2-3 weeks, mainly due to inflammatory exudation caused by fracture, soft tissue bleeding and inflammatory material stimulation, causing swelling and pain, which will be relieved after fracture fixation and the use of anti-swelling and analgesic drugs. 2. the period of swelling and pain in the middle and late stages of fracture. It may last for 1-2 months, mainly because of poor local blood circulation after fracture. In particular, the venous and lymphatic reflux function is not fully recovered, resulting in the swelling caused by the accumulation of venous and lymphatic fluid in the local area. The swelling will be reduced after the limb is lowered or the affected limb is elevated after activity, and it will be reduced after resting, and the process will be reduced continuously.
