Can seborrheic dermatitis be cured?

Seborrheic dermatitis is a chronic inflammatory skin disease that occurs at the site of seborrhea. It occurs in areas with a high distribution of sebaceous glands, such as the scalp, face, chest, and other areas of skin prone to wrinkling. This dermatitis begins as mildly flushed patches covered with grayish-white bran-like scales, with a self-induced itching sensation, and then the rash continues to expand and is found in many areas of the scalp, where greasy, scaly, map-like patches are visible and thick to the touch, much like a wound crust. If you try to pick it off, severe cases are accompanied by exudation of tissue fluid and have a foul odor. The disease can be effectively relieved by active treatment, but it is also prone to recurrence. It should be treated promptly if it develops. For the treatment of seborrheic dermatitis, there are two types of TCM evidence: wind-heat and blood-dry evidence and gastrointestinal damp-heat evidence. 1. Wind-heat and blood dryness: 1. Symptoms: mostly on the head and face, light red patches, dry, flaky, itchy, aggravated by wind, or itchy scalp, dandruff, dry hair loss; with dry mouth and thirst, dry stool; red tongue, thin white or yellow tongue coating, fine pulse. 2.Treatment: dispel wind and clear heat, nourish blood and moisten dryness. Second, the gastrointestinal damp-heat evidence: 1, symptoms: skin lesions are flushed patches, greasy scabs, and even erosion, oozing; accompanied by dry mouth and mucous mouth, abdominal fullness, urine short red, foul stools; tongue red, tongue coating yellow greasy, smooth pulse. 2. Treatment: Strengthening the spleen and removing dampness, clearing heat and relieving itching. 3, prescription: ginseng and atractylodes (ginseng, poria, atractylodes, yam, white lentils, lotus seeds, coix seeds, sand, orris, licorice composition combined with four wonderful pills (atractylodes, cypress, nux vomica, raw barley) plus reduction plus reduction. Seborrheic dermatitis is a relatively common disease, and proper treatment can reduce recurrence.
