Jiawei Free Pill and Chaihu Shu Liver Pill do not have drug conflicts and can be taken together.
1. Jiawei Free Pill is composed of Chaihu, Angelica sinensis, Paeonia lactiflora, Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae, Poria, Glycyrrhiza Uralensis, Mudanpi, Gardenia, and Mentha piperita. It has the effect of soothing liver and clearing heat, strengthening spleen and nourishing blood. It is used for liver depression and blood deficiency (liver qi stagnation and blood deficiency), liver-spleen disharmony (liver and spleen cannot work in harmony), distension and pain in both dregs, dizziness, tiredness and lack of food, menstrual disorders, and distension and pain in umbilical cord and abdomen. It is not suitable for people with cold and fever, and the adverse effects are not clear.
2. Chaihu Shu Liver Pill is composed of Poria cocos, Citrus aurantium dulcis, Paeonia lactiflora, Glycyrrhiza glabra, Cardamom, Fragrance, Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae, Platycodon grandiflorus and Magnolia officinalis. It has the efficacy of soothing liver qi, eliminating flatulence and relieving pain. It is used in treating liver-qi dysphoria, chest and hypochondrium (chest and ribs) congestion, food stagnation, vomiting and sour water. Contraindications and adverse effects are not known.
