Introduction to male microsurgery

Male microsurgery is a new technique of male disease treatment carried out in China in recent years. It is mainly used for varicocele (microscopic spermatic vein ligation), obstructive azoospermia (microscopic vasovaginal anastomosis and vasovaginal epididymal anastomosis), premature ejaculation (dorsal penile nerve selective excision) and so on. Compared with traditional surgery: it has the advantages of less trauma, faster recovery, lower recurrence rate and higher success rate. Microscopic spermatic vein ligation for varicocele The incidence of adult male population with varicocele is 15%; the incidence of male population with semen abnormality is 25%; the incidence of infertility patients is 40%; the incidence of varicocele combined with pain and discomfort is 2-10%. Since the slender testicular artery p internal spermatic vein and lymphatic vessels can be clearly distinguished under the surgical microscope, all the internal spermatic veins can be ligated completely to avoid damaging the testicular artery p lymphatic vessels and vas deferens. Microscopic spermatic vein ligation can significantly improve the success rate of surgery, reduce the recurrence rate after surgery, improve the quality of semen after surgery and greatly reduce the occurrence of surgical complications, which has become the “gold standard” for the treatment of this disease in Europe and America. Microscopic vasectomy/vasectomy epididymal anastomosis for obstructive azoospermia Azoospermia accounts for 1% of all men and 10%-15% of male infertility. Obstructive causes account for 40% of azoospermia. Microscopic vasovasovasostomy/vasovasovaginal epididymal anastomosis can treat azoospermia caused by vasovasal obstruction or epididymal obstruction, allowing patients to conceive naturally, avoiding assisted reproductive treatment, and with minimal surgical trauma and postoperative complications, it is the best microsurgical treatment for obstructive azoospermia. Selective dorsal nerve block for premature ejaculation Reports indicate that the incidence of premature ejaculation in China is about 35. The current clinical efficacy is not satisfactory. Selective dorsal nerve block is a new technology for the treatment of premature ejaculation in recent years, and the cure rate is significantly higher than that of traditional Chinese and Western medicine taken orally.
