Fracture of the inner wall of the eye at several levels of disability

A fracture of the medial wall of the eye must be judged by the severity of the fracture and whether or not there is damage to the eye, and the degree of damage to the eye and its usual grade. If it is a simple fracture of the medial wall of the eye that does not affect the eye, usually there are no obvious sequelae after the fracture heals and it can only be graded to about 12. If the fracture of the medial wall of the eye causes damage to the eye and is a severe contusion with complete loss of vision, a unilateral eye injury can usually be graded as Grade 3, but if there is a complete loss or severe loss of vision bilaterally, thus affecting the usual vision, it can be graded as the highest Grade 1.
