The easiest way to determine myocardial ischemia

There is no such thing as the easiest way to determine myocardial ischemia. Generally, it is necessary to combine the symptoms, medical history, electrocardiogram, coronary artery CTA and other examinations to make a comprehensive judgment, and generally the simpler examination method is electrocardiogram. 1. Symptoms: Typical symptoms of myocardial ischemia are exertional angina pectoris, and patients should be suspected of myocardial ischemia because of the squeezing pain in the precordial area and the back of the sternum that occurs after activity. Atypical symptoms include chest tightness and vague pain, tightness in the throat, radiating pain in the back of the shoulder, and toothache in some patients. 2. Medical history: whether there is hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, smoking, alcohol and other risk factors for myocardial ischemia, which has a certain auxiliary role in determining myocardial ischemia. 3. Electrocardiogram (ECG): ECG may not reflect the abnormality when myocardial ischemia does not attack, so we can do the exercise plate test, let the patient run on the treadmill, and observe the ECG after the activity to see if there is any myocardial ischemia manifestation such as ST-segment depression. 4. Coronary artery CTA: It can clarify whether there is stenosis in the coronary artery, so as to determine whether there is myocardial ischemia. 5. Coronary angiography: to clarify whether the coronary arteries have stenosis and the specific degree of stenosis, and to clearly determine whether there is myocardial ischemia. It is suggested that if patients have symptoms of myocardial ischemia, they should go to the cardiology department of the hospital in time and follow the doctor’s instructions for treatment, so as to prevent myocardial infarction and other critical and serious diseases.
