The difference between tonsil abscess embolism and tonsil stones is that the symptoms are different, the causes are different, and the treatment options are different.
1. Symptoms are different:
(1) Tonsil pus embolism: mainly related to infection, manifested as sore throat, fever, difficulty in swallowing, muscle aches and pains, etc. Tonsil congestion and swelling can be seen on examination, covered with white pus embolism.

2. Different causes: tonsil abscess is mainly formed by acute bacterial infection; tonsil stones are usually formed by chronic inflammatory stimulation, or food residue, combined with calcium salt deposition.
3. Different treatment programs: tonsil abscess is mainly given anti-infection, such as cefaclor, amoxicillin and other treatments. If the tonsil stones are relatively small, the tonsil stones can be removed regularly with a washer; if the tonsil stones are large, tonsillectomy can be considered to eliminate them.
