What does Tobias Eye Drops treat?

Tobax is the trade name and generic name of Tobramycin Eye Drops, which is indicated for topical anti-infective treatment of common strains of bacterial infections of the external eye and appendages. Tobramycin belongs to aminoglycoside antibiotics, which functions by binding to the 30s subunit of bacterial ribosomes and inhibiting the synthesis of bacterial proteins. It has antibacterial effects on Escherichia coli, Aerobacter aerogenes, Klebsiella, Proteus mirabilis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus, etc. It can be used clinically for the above sensitive bacteria. Clinically, it can be used for localized infections of the external eye and appendages caused by the above sensitive bacteria. It is contraindicated for those who are allergic to this product and other aminoglycoside antibiotics. The drug can cause adverse reactions such as burning pain or swelling of the eyelids, conjunctival erythema, etc. It should be applied under medical supervision. Use with caution in renal insufficiency, abnormal hepatic function, vestibular function or hearing loss, water loss, myasthenia gravis or Parkinson’s disease and elderly patients.
