Hemorrhoid surgery is based on the symptoms of the hemorrhoid. Hemorrhoids that do not have symptoms do not require any treatment or surgery. If you have mild symptoms, such as a small amount of bleeding or protrusion, and the symptoms are not serious, conservative treatment is generally recommended, by improving your diet and bowel habits, and then controlling the symptoms with complementary medications, such as hemorrhoid suppositories or hemorrhoid cream. If you have serious hemorrhoid symptoms, such as heavy bleeding and severe protrusion, you can consider surgery if conservative treatment with medication is not effective. There is no saying that hemorrhoid treatment is absolutely good or bad, only that according to the hemorrhoid symptoms, surgery is needed, and if surgery is needed then it is in the patient’s best interest to have it as early as possible.
