Can self-immune liver be cured?

Autoimmune liver, which is also known as autoimmune liver disease, is generally not curable, but can only control the progress of the disease.
Autoimmune liver disease is an abnormality of the body’s immunity, which in turn causes damage to the liver, clinically there is no specific drug that can cure autoimmune hepatitis, the disease will eventually progress to cirrhosis.
For clinical treatment of autoimmune liver disease, ursodeoxycholic acid capsules can be used to control the progression of the disease, and glucocorticoids and immunosuppressants, such as prednisone and cyclophosphamide, should be considered for patients with decompensation. The overall goal of treatment is to obtain hepatic histologic remission, prevent progression of hepatic fibrosis, occurrence of liver failure, prolong patient survival, and improve patient quality of life.
The therapeutic goal is to obtain complete biochemical remission, i.e., normalization of alanine aminotransferase, glutamine aminotransferase, and immunoglobulin G levels.
Autoimmune liver disease recommends prompt medical attention and treatment as prescribed.
