Does being positive for the new coronavirus confirm the diagnosis?

Neocoronavirus positivity needs to be determined by whether it is antigen-positive, antibody-positive, or nucleic acid-positive. Neocoronavirus antigen positivity does not confirm infection with Neocoronavirus; Neocoronavirus antibody positivity needs to be determined on a case-by-case basis; and Neocoronavirus nucleic acid positivity can confirm infection with Neocoronavirus.
Neocoronavirus antigen positivity is usually detected using an antigen self-test kit, so there is a possibility of false positives, which cannot be used to confirm the diagnosis of Neocoronavirus infection. When a positive antigen test is detected, the diagnosis should be confirmed with a Neocoronavirus nucleic acid test.
For suspected cases of neocoronavirus infection that have not yet received the neocoronavirus vaccine, the diagnosis of neocoronavirus infection can be confirmed if the neocoronavirus-specific IgM and IgG antibodies are both positive. Antibody testing does not confirm infection with Neocoronavirus in people who have received the Neocoronavirus vaccine.
A positive nucleic acid test for NeoCornavirus confirms infection with NeoCornavirus and requires isolation and treatment as soon as possible.
