Cystic structures in the right ovary are mostly found in ultrasound, which usually indicate normal follicles, physiologic cysts or pathologic cysts.
1. Normal follicles: For women, the ovaries contain follicles, which are cystic in ultrasound, and the size of follicles changes accordingly in different periods of the menstrual cycle.
2. Physiological cysts: luteal cysts are normal products of follicular growth and development, usually appearing after ovulation, and there is a ring of blood flow around them under ultrasound; follicular cysts are formed due to the degeneration of follicular epithelium, hyperplasia and thickening of follicular wall connective tissues, and the follicular fluid is not absorbed, which can be naturally absorbed in 1 month.
3. Pathological cysts: for cysts with a diameter of more than 5cm or uneven echogenicity, it is necessary to be alert to the occurrence of teratoma, ovarian chocolate cysts and other pathological cysts.
For women who are found to have cystic structures in the right ovary, it is recommended that they go to the gynecology department of a regular hospital to clarify the type of cysts, and actively treat them under the guidance of the doctor.
