Liver fibrosis is the pathological repair of chronic injury by the liver. The severity of liver fibrosis depends on whether the process of liver fibrosis can be blocked, and is more serious if fibrosis continues to progress. Liver fibrosis is generally incurable, but can be stabilized with aggressive treatment. Liver fibrosis leads to regeneration of hepatocyte nodules, formation of pseudolobules, and eventually cirrhosis. Therefore, early diagnosis of liver fibrosis and aggressive treatment is beneficial to the patient’s prognosis. Patients with liver fibrosis should avoid overeating, eat a balanced diet and abstain from smoking and alcohol. If the cause of liver fibrosis is controlled or eliminated, liver fibrosis can remain stable. If liver fibrosis continues to progress and leads to cirrhosis, the prognosis is poor and can lead to death. Therefore, it should be noted that liver fibrosis needs to be treated at an early stage, so that it can be stabilized as much as possible, and cirrhosis can be prevented.
