Is paralysis related to spleen deficiency?

Paralysis is related to spleen deficiency, but this pattern does not exist in the clinic.
Paralysis refers to the paralysis of the meridians and channels, and the patient experiences symptoms such as pain in the joints, unfavorable flexion and extension, and impaired mobility. Patients with spleen deficiency have dysfunction of transportation and digestion, resulting in internal dampness, heat and phlegm, which can cause paralysis. In addition, factors such as attack by external evils, inappropriate labor and rest, and trauma may all lead to paralysis.
The clinical types of paralysis include wind-cold-dampness paralysis, walking paralysis, catching paralysis, deficiency of liver and kidney, etc. They can be treated with Xuanbao Tang, Fangfeng Tang, Coix Seed Tang, and Duojiu Shengsheng Tang, respectively, and there is no spleen deficiency type of evidence.
Patients should be guided by their doctors to clarify their own types of symptoms before proceeding with the appropriate treatment.
